 Well, the 2008 vintage is well under way. The white wines have all been bottled, and they are absolutely amazing! The 2008 Chardonnay has been made in a similar style to the popular 2005 vintage. Unoaked, fresh, soft and fruit driven, it is sure to be a fast seller. The 2008 Riesling has also been made in the same style as the 2005 vintage. Both of these wines were in demand in restaurants and cafes during the past two years, and they will run out of stock in a few months from now. Joining the 2008 white wine range is a really nice Sauvignon Blanc, and a Late Harvest Riesling. Not much quantity in these two, but the quality is way up there. Be sure to ask for them at the cellar door next time you visit.
 Redbox now makes 7 products from Cabernet grapes! Our regular Cabernet Sauvignon, a lovely Cabernet Merlot, a Cabernet Rose, Classic Tawny, and of course, Ice Cabernet Dessert Wine. The seventh product is not a wine. It is that delicious Cabernet Jelly which you can find at the Redbox Cellar Door on any weekend. If you are lucky, you will be able to score a jar of it this year. Cabernet Jelly is made from estate grapes, and if you try it on a cracker with a piece of cheese, you will be blown away. Imagine that!! Seven products from one grape type! Seriously, though, those grapes are so good that flocks of green $40,000 parrots fly huge distances to wreak havoc each year. Just before picking time. Too good to sell, and we have to share them with the birds as well.
